About Us

Welcome to the Isle of Wight’s Drone Services Provider

We are dedicated to bringing the power of drone technology to the Isle of Wight, offering professional UAV services for both residential and commercial clients. From property photography and site surveys to roof inspections, thermal imaging, mapping, 3D modelling, LiDAR, and multispectral data capture, our drones make it easier, faster, and safer to collect aerial data that was once only achievable by helicopter or plane.

The Isle of Wight is a unique and beautiful location, and we are proud to help homeowners, businesses, surveyors, and contractors make the most of drone technology to gather accurate data, showcase properties, and monitor sites from above. Using drones, we can cover hard-to-reach areas, collect precise imagery, and provide a new perspective on projects that enhances safety, efficiency, and insight.

Experience You Can Trust

Our founder has been flying drones since 2014, starting as a hobbyist with both photographic and FPV (first-person view) drones. Over time, this hobby evolved into a professional service aimed at bringing advanced aerial technology to the Isle of Wight.

Our use of drones allows us to collect high-resolution images, video, and other data from angles that would otherwise be difficult or dangerous to reach. We are passionate about demonstrating the real-world value drones provide to the local community—whether it’s helping a realtor showcase a property, assisting a contractor with a detailed site survey, or providing homeowners with a comprehensive roof inspection.

While some misconceptions exist about drones in communities, we focus on delivering practical, safe, and highly accurate services that benefit our clients and reduce risks, costs, and time compared to traditional methods.

Certified, Safe, and Fully Insured

We are fully certified by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), holding both the A2 CofC and the GVC with PDR01 permissions. This guarantees that all drone operations are carried out to the highest safety and professional standards. Additionally, we are fully insured through Moonrock Insurance, giving our clients complete confidence when we are operating on their property.

We stay ahead of industry standards and CAA regulations, continually updating our training and skills to ensure that our use of drones on the Isle of Wight is safe, legal, and effective.

Our Fleet and Technology

We use DJI drones exclusively, the industry leaders in both commercial and hobbyist sectors. DJI drones are renowned for their reliability, stability, and precision, allowing us to capture high-quality imagery and video across the Isle of Wight.

Our drones are equipped with Hasselblad cameras capable of 20–48MP stills, optical zoom lenses up to 7x, and video recording up to 5K. From the Phantom 3 Professional to the latest M400 series, we have the right drone for any task—whether it’s detailed roof inspections, 3D modelling, or aerial surveys.

We continue to expand our fleet as new drone technology and capabilities become available, ensuring that our services remain cutting-edge for clients across the Isle of Wight.

Why Choose Us?

The concept of flight has long represented human freedom and aspiration. From early exposure to myths such as Icarus to childhood fantasies of soaring like a bird, flight symbolizes escape from earthly constraints and human limitations. Historically, this experience of freedom was accessible only to pilots engaged in manned aviation.

As technology has rapidly advanced, drones have emerged as a means of experiencing flight while remaining connected to the ground. This progression marked my entry into aviation, beginning with small consumer drones and advancing to first-person-view systems, before transitioning to platforms equipped with advanced remote-sensing camera technology, GPS and RTK positioning, and precise mission-planning capabilities. Through accurate data collection and correlation, what began as a hobby developed into a professional passion within an emerging technological field.

While the experiential aspect of flight remains important, the primary challenge—and motivation—has become the systematic acquisition of high-quality visual and spatial data and its transformation into reliable deliverables. This progression has led to the use of increasingly sophisticated data-collection methodologies, integrating drones with specialized payloads such as high-resolution optical sensors and positioning systems.

The operational focus extends beyond flight execution to comprehensive mission planning, including airspace considerations, sensor selection, flight geometry, and data density requirements. Equal importance is placed on post-processing, where raw imagery is processed, correlated, and validated to produce actionable assets such as inspection reports, orthomosaics, and analytical documentation. These outputs enable accurate identification of defects and performance issues, providing clients with objective, data-driven insights to support decision-making.

The application of these methodologies within a local operational context has enabled the delivery of a specialized aerial data-collection service on the Isle of Wight. By operating within the island’s unique geographic, environmental, and regulatory constraints, drone-based inspection and survey solutions can be tailored to meet the specific needs of local businesses and residents.

This localized approach allows for efficient deployment, reduced logistical overheads, and a detailed understanding of regional building types, infrastructure, and environmental conditions. As a result, high-quality aerial data products can be produced to support property inspections, maintenance planning, and asset assessment, providing the Isle of Wight community with access to advanced remote-sensing capabilities that are typically limited to larger mainland operators.

Collectively, these experiences represent not only a technical progression but a deeply personal commitment to the discipline. What began as a fascination with flight has evolved into a focused pursuit of precision, innovation, and meaningful application. Driven by a genuine passion for aviation and data-driven analysis, this work is dedicated to delivering dependable aerial data solutions that address real-world challenges and provide tangible value to the local community.
